But......(xenon or LED).....it must be able to take one or two of the following rechargeable protected 3.7V Li-Ion cells; 14670, 17/18500, 17670, 18650.....AND be able to perform to its maximum factory potential. I don't mind changing the original 6V lamp for a 3.7V lamp, but this is the only change I am prepared to make.

I already have a G2 with 17670 and 3.7V lamp, as well as L2 with 14670.....any other ideas?

depends, are you looking for flood or throw, but it seems what you have now more or less covers those areas.

I absolutely love my C3 w/2 17500 batteries and the G&P 9V bulb that I got from Lighthound. It is brighter and whiter than my M3 with the same (17500) batteries.

The M3 is no slouch either w/2 17500 batteries.

Of course there are others that come to mind like the U2 or the A2.

Apparently the A2 wont work well with a 17670 because of its electronics, it won't boost to its maximum output.....or something like that.....

The L4 will work with 17670, as will the U2. Unless you know what you're doing it's not a good idea to run the A2 on rechargeables.
