these are on the way to the plater -11/08/2006

I had received a BHC from H22A ( pictured, not part of the deal here) I wanted to have the Mini-Mag match the Electroless Nickel. The plater I used had minimun quantity of four. I am keeping two, the other two are up for sale.

These had the anodize removed. They were then completley Electroless Nickel Plated

The cost is $40.00 shipped first class, delivery confirmation in the US. Add $3.00 for international shipping.

The actual mini-mags are the same color as a coin, the nickel. These match exactly the BHC I have. both in color and finish. They are not the same as the maglite silver color or the gray color.

I posted these in H22A's BHC thread . If I can get a minimum of 4, I can send them and have them plated. I have to remove the standard Maglite anodize finish from all the pieces. Then I have to 'adjust' the finish on the aluminum to match the machining on the BHC. I polished one of the nickel plated mags - the finish is almost like chrome. The BHC is not a polished finish.

I can take in a few stock mini-mags and do the work on them prior to sending them to the plater. I can even do some lathe work, cut grooves or whatever prior to plating.

Wayne - Order the BHC (Big Head Conversion) from H22A's posting in this section. H22A is offering the head only at this time - in nickel, black, Al, and limited HAIII.

Then join me in a "mini" GB for the nickel plate job that Will is offering. He needs a minimum of four for his plater. I am in for two so we need two more lights to qualify. Kirk

Check out the first post here for pricing. I can groove the body for that price. I have to put them in the lathe after I remove the anodize to match the finish of the BHC.

I had planned on only doing new mini-mags. I changed my mind - IF you have one, you can send it to me and the cost for the plating will be $30.00.

keep in mind - this is only for the standard mini-mag, NO BHC IS PROVIDED.
