Last time I asked about the Surefire KL1 vs the Petzal XP headlamp. You all did not steer me wrong. I got the Petzal headlamp and I love it.

So I have been looking seriously at the Surefire KL1, but after a good bit of reading and research on this website I am seriously considering the Huntllight or the Lumapower M1.

The light would be used for hunting and camping.

I appreciate any input, thanks for your assistance.

I think another interesting comparison would be between the Huntlight Cree (available now) and the M1 Cree (available mid-Jan).

Yup, I'm very anxious to see a comparo between the M1 and FT-01 Cree versions.

After inspecting the Cree D-Mini from LumaPower I'm going to snag the M1 Cree.

I just received a DX1 (which is closer in construction to the M1 than is the D-Mini). If you like the quality of construction of the Mini you should be blown away by the M1.

Thanks westfork, I will get a Cree M1. But, I really want a 2-stage switch. I hope they ad it on before they finalize the M1. Otherwise I'll have to find a way to mod it. Cheers.
