I performed a search and did not notice any buzz yet about the new Pelican 7060 to be issued to the LAPD

There have been several threads. A couple in general and one preview/review in the reviews section. Looks to be a pretty solid light based on the review posted.

Best to keep all technical discussion in the review thread which is specifically about the flashlight rather than the fact it has been purchased by a police force.
We're not interested in political etc discussion as it is off topic from the flashlight itself.
