P1D ce and P2D ce batteries

Hi to all. A question to answer.
I need to know if the P1D CE can accept RCR123's as well as CR123's.
The usual ones that came at 4.2v out of the charger.
What about also the P2D CE?

P1D CE and P2D CE both accept RCR123's but you lose all lower modes. You get a high/turbo and strobe/SOS but you don't get low or medium.

I;m getting some 3V RCR123's myself to use with my L1D (soon to be P2D once the bodies come out)...

My only concern is not to fry the IC so thats why i check it before.
How about the P3D CE that can accept 2XCR123'S? If i swap the body with the P2D CE. I believe it would be no problem at all.
Also does anyone knows if the P1 cr123 bodies from the FENIX STORE are compatible with the new P2D?

Just received my P2D.

On a freshly charged(last week) 3.0v (3.96v)Tenergy, all modes work. Its' hard to discern between Low & Medium. But you can tell the difference among Low, High & Turbo.

I tried 2 AW, 3.7v. One was a little tight to slide in, the other one had better fitment. Neither had a fresh charge. I only tested the unit that read 4.0v. Low, Med & High looked the same; Turbo was brighter.
