Hi all,

I'm thinking about going rechargable on my SF C3. For now I'll be using either a P90, HO-9, EO-9 or P91 OR maybe a CREE drop-in down the road. I know the P91 may be iffy with a pair of 17500s but I think the rest should work, as well as the CREE. My question, before I buy the 17500s is, would the Tenergy 3.0V RCR123s (from batteryjunction) work? They are supposed to drop down to 3.0V-3.2V within 12ms from the 3.6V+ charged voltage. Will 3 of them instaflash or severly limit the life of incan bulbs? If that is a problem, can it be mitigated by letting the cells rest for a day or so? Thanks all for your responses.

please avoid the P91 with 2x17500s, it would be unsafe, if you want the brightest lamp possible with 2x17500, go with lumensfactory D26 EO-9. It's a solid 200+ torch lumens on 17500s, by comparison the P90 on the same cells is about 135 torch lumens.
