You could mark the messages with the button "This is not spam". Maybe the spam filter will learn and next time it doesn't end up in the spam?

I've tried, it doesn't seem to help.

Try to add the email address where the emails are coming from to your gmail contacts, that might help (I haven't tried that myself).

The exact same thing happened to me today - I was wondering where all my PMs and subscribed thread notifications went

Unmarking them as spam and creating a filter using 'CandlePowerForums Forums' as the sender have restored messages to my inbox.

Good luck!
