Hello all:)

I was thinking about a perfect beacon with this intentions:

- cheap
- easy available
- fitting different head-diameters
- effective
- easy storing (EDC'ing)
- lightweight

....ahhhh, the solution :grin2:

All you need is a oneway Vinyl-glove.
Depending on the head diameter, cut one of the fingers and put it over the head.
For storage it could be possible, turning it over the battery. If not put it in the holster.

Take a look:

And in action:

I hope you had fun:grin2:

Aside from being a viable solution, probably great with strobe mode, it brings back many fun memories that have nothing to do with flashlights. ;-)

Hi John,

I've been doing this for a while wit these little "finger gloves" they use on our production floor, I think the call them "finger cots" in the industry.

Also called various types of mini-condoms, they even have the rolled bottom edge!

I asked where they bought them and they just threw a handful at me. :)

For some reason if I put one on the light, they don't last very long before they tear, but if I put two on, they last a very long while! Why the difference I dunno! :p

I hope that helps!
