Hi, Peter.

Now that Wayne's 330ma circuit and all of it's parts are public knowledge direct from the factory for under $20, is there any chance that you can let us know what stickum you used to keep the Hybrids from being disassembled and serviced?

Additional info such as what solvents might un-stick the units would be nice, too.

Thanks!

It is regular ol' red Loctite (#272). You can use heat and torque to loosen the head.

Uh, it wasn't Loctite 272 in this one, Peter - whatever it was was silver-grey and somewhat grainy.

Not a trace of red in the threads at all ...

Interior looks fairly good, very little corrosion from the rainwater that was inside.

Once it gets fully dry I'm going to make it more water resistant when I reassemble, and hopefully it will survive a normal Seattle day better.

Yes, you are right. We used loctite red on some and silver epoxy on others. The silver epoxy is loctite #3888.
