Arc AAA Clip

I haven't seen any threads on this, so I'll ask: is the clip on the new Arc AAA removable?

Yup, I slid mine right off and put it on my Mag Solitaire. Then put the Mag lanyard on the AAA.

does it come off easily? will the body get scratched up in the process?

No scratches on mine. It takes a good push to get it sliding, don't want it coming off accidentally.

I was concerned it would scratch or slide so I put a 1/2" length of shrink tubing on first then used needle nose pliers to splay the clip collar wide enough to go over the tubing. I also put a 1/4" length on the tail end so I can bite down on it, rather than the HA. (ouch!)

It does take a little finish off the knurling if you're not careful. It did on mine. Now I spread the clip a little with my fingers before sliding it on.

We put quite a few of these on each day and they don't scratch the housing. You need to be careful of course. I recommend you slide it from the front end.
