I thought it might be interesting to show comparisons of lights that are not supposed to be in the same league. Just to show how vastly different lights compare to each other. I'll start with this odd comparison of a DeWalt work light with an 18V battery and a 2.5-inch reflector (incan bulb) versus a Streamlight Twin-Task 2-L (6V and a 1-inch reflector, Xenon).
In the comparison pic at about 20-feet from the wall the DeWalt is brighter, but it sure isn't "that much brighter" like you might expect from something with 3 times the voltage and more than twice the reflector size.
This test was done more in fun than scientific, so please don't rip me apart with tech info.
But I would love to see other similar tests of small lights vs big lights, LED vs incan, etc.
