Which one is brighter for you?

I found a 14500 battery for my dexlight x1..

Decided that I would do a comparison between it and my p1d-ce..

Side by side, the fenix set on normal is as bright as the Dex on it highest setting?! When the Fenix is on turbo it blows the DEX away!!

I thought that the dexlight on turbo with a brand new 14500 is supposed to throw 150 lumens?

Could I be doing something wrong with the Dexlight??

Anyone else notice this?

I think your Dexlight must be defective. Is it in advanced mode?

no, those outputs are from normal mode... I was pretty disappointed with its output.. I noticed that it wasn't really brighter with the new battery tho... had a 1.5AA in it and when the non rechargable 3.6 went in in only got a LIL brighter.. bat was new in package...

could this have anything to do with it being a non-rechargable 14500 bought at the store?? I only say this cause i heard that the rechargables are higher voltage...

The Fenix should blow the Dex away as it is a much better light!!

Maybe the non-rechargeable is not about to put out enough current while rechargeables are?
