Fenix L1S and L1T tube differences?

Greetings

I'm the happy owner of a Fenix L1S. I must admit that the new crop of Fenix lights are tempting, and I'm looking at a L2T CE.

Would the single cell tube from my L1S fit the head and tailcap from the L2T making it a single AA light?

I have the simple L2T and the L1S body works well with the L2T head and tail. I was also wondering about the compatiblity of the simple L2T and L1S bodies with the v2 heads.

According to 4sevens, the new LxT v2.0 heads are NOT compatible with the old LxS and LxT bodies. However, they do fit the new LxD bodies.

But that means you would not be able to update your old lights with new heads, unfortunately.
