Hi group, contemplating picking up a Surefire L5. Does this light get dimmer near the end of battery life, or does it it flicker or go from "bright" to "off"?
How does your Surefire L5 "dim" when the batteries go flat?

Using two CR123's it will dim slowly when it stops regulating, getting fainter and fainter. I use one 18650 (TB 18659 body) and it will dim at end of regulation in time for me to change out the battery before LiIon is depleated too far.
