I hate for my lights to roll off something, usually the trunk of a car. Here is a quick, cheap and easy anti-roll rubber loop that will not interfer with belt holders. You can fold it two ways, like this or so the loop lies against the head. Both work, depends what is more out of your way.
Like cutting out paper dolls. Take a section of bicycle inner tube, fold it over and cut out a section to leave two bands connected by a strap. Fold it over and it makes a loop, put it on a C-size host and you have an ANTI-ROLL device. From a side of a larger tube, a sheet, you can cut one like this for D lights.
