I'm looking at the super throw types but that's another thread (really set of threads) but I'm also looking at ones that have smaller heads that could end up being EDC and be able to tuck in places that I couldn't tuck one of the larger head ones.

My just about ideal one would be an OLight T-20 with an 18MM ID tube that fit an AW 18650.

Suggestions?

I'd like to find a light like that also.Been looking but the feild of 18650 small lights is lean.If fenix came out with a P3Dish size light that used 18650 I would be all over it.

Just think a 22mm tube the same legnth as a P3D and a low Vf q5:drool:

That would definately be a hit - P3D size light that takes the 18650 and is fully regulated for the 1 battery.

I remember seeing a cool light that was put together with parts from Leaf. It looked like it was pretty compact for a 18650 light with a same diameter body for the entire light (no large head).

I am suprised nobody has come out with a compact light using the 18650. There were some Arc body tubes that I think worked with the 18650 and made it a pretty small light.

I think the newer LP D-mini with Q2 bin(I wish it was Q5) + PEU custom 18650 body -OR- D65 extender(1X18650) might be a viable option. I'm looking at this light too as a small carry thrower.
