Can a good quality LED torch with a good quality LED inside it project it's beam as far as a incandescent torch or even that of a xenon lamp torch.

Also while LED torches give out that whitish light colour, do Xenon lamps do the same.

Yes, it can, and it doesn't even need to be good quality.

As far as I know (I'm not big on incandescents), Xenon lamps are whiter than standard incandescents, but they still aren't in LED territory. Don't quote me on this though...

LEDs can throw half a mile if you are willing to mod, look here.

Stock lights, a good thrower like the Dereelight DBS will throw more then 150 meters(Even this cheap light will throw more then 100 meters).

All thanks to the newer LEDs.
