l2d ce p4 and l1d ce q5 head compatible?

I have Fenix L2D ce p4 version.
I know that heads of L1D and L2D ce p4 are compatible with each other's body, but I'm not sure if they still compatible with different versions.
I wonder if L2D body compatible with L1D ce q5 head, so that I can use my p4 version 1AA for EDC and q5 version 2AA for better output.
Has anyone experience on that?

Yes they are compatible. In fact I think it's a good idea. Q5's tend to have a higher Vf than P4's. So I think you will better served using the Q5 head on the L2D body. The Q5 on the L2D body will be brighter than the P4 will be. Both heads use the exact same circuit, the only difference is the Q5 is from a more efficient bin than the P4(more light-less heat, but they are still both Cree's).
