When was the Inova X5 introduced?

Was just flicking channels and saw a glimpse of a flashlight on the old movie Predator. I just caught a quick glimpse of it while they were flying into the LZ on a helo, but it looked like a red X5 they were using to check out a map. I could easily be wrong, it was more of an impression I got of it, rather than a look.

The movie was made in 1987, the X5 isnt that old is it? Years seem to blur together in my older age, lol but not that badly, I hope, lol. I was looking aorund but could not find a year that either Inova started up,or the X5 was introduced.

I think it was introduced between the years 2000 and 2002. I don't remember exactly.

I believe it was introduced in late 2000, but I'm not positive when it was released...

I got my X5T, green, in 02

then a white in 03

I bought mine in 02 and it was my first "real" led light. Led lights have come amazingly far since then (ages and ages ago I know ) but the light is still a classic!

Portable LED flashlights were not available in 1987.
