How to disable internal switch in 2AA MiniMag?

This question has probably been covered a thousand times already, but I can't find the answer anywhere.

I have a 2AA MiniMag with a tailcap switch. I'd like to hardwire the standard twist switch to be "always on" so that the tailcap is the only thing to think about.

Any tips or links?

Thanks!

Here's how to disassemble a Mag2AA:

I don't see a need to modify the switch in your case. The switch works by making contact with the body when the head is unscrewed. Just unscrew the head to the point where the switch is making contact & leave the head there. I use a fatter oring so the head is hard to move. Others use different tapes, threadlock, epoxy...

I use the twist switch as a safety switch to disable the tailcap switch otherwise the damn thing will turn the light on when it is in your pocket or bag.
