Inovas- Type 2 or Type 3 Anondizing?

All currently made Inovas are HA III. First and second generation X1's and X5's are type II anodized.

The first gen X5 is the type most people have never seen. It had no tailswitch. The X5T is the model most people are now familiar with.

All other lights since that have been Mil-Spec HA-III, some of the best anodizing I have EVER seen on any light. This includes the first X5T and X1v1.

All I know is it took actual dropping to ding up my X5t, and my Xo 1.4 has more scratches on the stainless steel bezel, switch trim ring, and lens than the body, which ... no, that was a hair. None at all.

Whatever it is, it's tough stuff.

Thats my T3 after it dropped about 30 meters on concrete marble. Only the aluminium is dented...
