Has anyone tried a P7 in a Tiablo A9?

I gave my Tiablo A9 to a buddy a few months ago. Today he calls to tell me that he dropped it and it doesn't work anymore. I said "Hey now it's time to mod it".

Anyway, I have a P7 coming from Photonfanatic. I was thinking about making a nice copper heatsink for it and running it DD off a single 18650.

I was wondering if the reflector would work with this LED.

I did put an SSC P7 in my Tiablo A8, with a multimode regulated driver at 2.4A. Works with the op-reflector. It becomes a floody wall of light. Very nice.

I saw that and liked it. This light has an orange peel reflector as well.

I'm going to do it and hope for the best. I'll report when finished.
