What beats the Fenix L2D Q5 runtime?

Looking for a 2xAA or 2x123 only, that can run as long as possible at 180+ lumens. L2D Q5 can go for 2.4 hours, and as far as I can tell, that is tops. Any others I should look at? TIA.

The Fenix are quite efficient, so for 2x AA I guess you won't find much more. If you move to 1 x 18650 there are some options with longer runtime, like the TK11 (2,7 hrs with 225 lumen) or Wolf Eyes Defender Cree Q5 and probably some others.

You can't get much more runtime. Also keep in mind that the L2D-CE Q5 is probably around 150 lumen out the front.

The TK11 seems like a long runner and it isn't silly expensive either.
As for AA lights the L2D is about the best. O-light and jetbeam also have good 2xAA lights out but you can't go wrong with a L2D.

The only way you'll get longer runtime at the same or equivalent brightness is by using higher capacity bats (i.e, a 2x18650 tube for a P3D, anyone?)
