Due to the amazing constuction, a Malkoff M60 would fit the bill nicely.

If this is for real world use on an actual weapon, don't buy the cheap drop-ins.

Yes, it will be a gift for somebody to be deployed in Iraq. Would malkoff's M60 be needing some triming or would it fit snugly in the light. Thanks for the chime.

If your buddy needs an LED drop-in, the Malkoff is definitely the best.

But if he'll be using an IR filter over the front of his M951 to be used in conjunction with night vision equipment, he'll want to stick with his incandescent lamp assembly. LEDs don't emit enough IR light to work with his other gear.

Just another reason to buy an extra LU10.....one for incan and one for the Malkoff M60!!:eek:oo::thumbsup: Keep one in the pocket so he doesn't have to worry about a bulb going bad (which at some point it will) and taking the time to unscrew the LU10 adaptor from the bezel to change drop-ins. Anyone that owns this set-up I'm sure will agree that it can be a pain in the booty to get them apart...especially if the standard ribbed style bezel is used. Some of the LU10s have notches cut into the side that threads into the body..some don't. The notches allow one to use a knife or tool to unscrew
the adaptor easier. Just something to think about.....
The LU10 is the adaptor that screws between the weapon light body and M2 bezel.
