Thanks Mac :twothumbs

Ok Guys,

I just ordered a MagLite drop in from Malkoff.
It's optimal at 3 D cells rated at 240 lumens at 1000ma.

I'm looking for a cut down Maglite 1D cell body configuration
able to support an 18650 cell.

Maybe someone can help me out here.
A fully charged 18650 is rated at 4.2V

3 D cells(1.5V each) = 4.5 volts

Will an 18650 still give me decent run time at 1000ma?
If not, can someone suggest another battery configuration?

Any help greatly appreciated!

With an 18650 you will get over 2 hours runtime.

What color body are you looking for?

Thanks for the reply Mac:thumbsup:

Black, Red or Silver would be fine.
Any chance of getting a sleeve for an 18650 and
maybe a clicky on the tailcap?

As for PF11 I doubt I will be making it this year as I'm swamped with house work :(
