I am making some headlamps but want a battery holder. I do not want to get an otter box and put a battery holder inside as this makes it to big. There are a lot af lights out there with 4AA but I can not seem to get just the battery pack. The old petzl duo would be good. I have tried a surf and beach type container but the one I ended up with is ok but does not look very durable

Try one of these instead of an otterbox..
In my opinion, they Rival an Otter Box..

Or if you want to cut the battery tray up a but, and
use the contact ends and springs, try this one..

Then use one of these battery connectors and seal the
threads and back of it with silicone to make it
waterproof..
