For the Jetbeam III M

I have researched on here and OP seems to be more popular.. But on a light designed with throw in mind would it be a silly idea?

Your views would be appreciated!

Neutral Tint and OP.

The dies on crees these days (esp. China) are not very well centered under the dome. The OP reflector masks this.

The JB OP reflector throws quite well. No need for SMO.

Thanks for your advice mate!

Is that the setup you have in the beamshots you posted here?

http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=209461

That's using an OP reflector, but the tint is the standard cool tint. If you specify "neutral", you will get a less blue tint, that is closer to incandescent.

To see the difference, go to this thread : https://www.candlepowerforums.com/posts/2654418&postcount=269

The middle picture is the same tint as the Jetbeam with 'neutral' tint.
