I removed the reflector from a Mag AAA Solitaire, now what?

I bought this bronze colored Maglite AAA Solitaire for about $1 at Target a couple years ago. Tonight I got bored and decided to remove the reflector. Now I don't know what to do with it? Should I toss it in the garbage? I cleaned the lens after finding it on the floor, but it is plastic and a little scratched (it came this way).

Any ideas on what to do with this light?

not to be total OCD or anything, but you (or who ever owns the page) spelled Solitaire wrong on most if not all the pictures.

Holy crap! That looks a little involved.

either get a smjled drop in designed for the solitaire

drop in any led and use button cell batteries

use any ol' 5mm LED, cut the leads and bend the leads so they fit the solitaire. Run 10440 in the thing.

better yet use a 3mm led so you do not have to drill the reflector

Not me, nor my page. This belongs to a retired CPF member. His name was NewBie. His web pages are very interesting to read.

Here's my last Solitaire mod. Micro-Lux. Not sure if the maker is still active.

That's interesting. I would probably need something like that, since the reflector is destroyed. I couldn't find any further info on it though.

Cool idea. I don't like unprotected lithium cobalt cells though. Let's hope AW comes out with an IMR10440!
