Romisen RC-G2 reflector version

Has anybody bought a Romisen RC-G2 from DX or KD in the last time?

What reflector version was it?

The glued in one:

Or the screwed in one:

At the pictures at DX and KD I only can see the glued version witch I don't like …

I have the original and also the Q5 that shiningbeam sells and both of mine are screwed in.

I think right now they are shipping the GLUED one.

I got mine in last month, head was glued (you can still remove it) and it wasnt very bright... It was a gift anyways.

Got 2 in the mail from shiningbeam yesterday, they were glued on. I like them very much though, especially for the price.

unless your'e a modder, i dont see the problem with glued reflectors.

May I ask for vendor and colour?

Thanks' for the answers – because I am in Europe I want to order from
DX or KD.

I want it for modding – the screwed one is a fantastic mod host.

My EDC is a gray G2 with AR lens, RB100, 16mode/3group driver and
14500 li-ion, a nice little pocket-rocket!

I would like to have one or two in spare for later projects ...

I bought my black RC-G2 from DX and luckily it was a screw in reflector. That was about 11 months ago though.

A very nice little light let down by a poor driver and emitter, but still super for the price and "moddable". :thumbsup:

If you dont want to mod your G2 then i say give the Q5 version a try, it has a bigger spot and better spill then the original. I like the RC-G2 for the fact that its easy to hold via cigar grip.

Mine was from dealextreme, and it was black, SKU:3607, it shipped november 20th, and i got it last week

Go two RC-G2 gray from DX today (SKU 3609) - they are screwed in versions :thumbsup:.
