My EDC needs to have a clip so I took the clip off my D10. The holes on the clip line up with the LF5XT perfectly but i did have to enlarge one hole slightly.

Sorry, it won't work with the LF3. My brother has a LF3XT and told me he was going to do the same thing, I didn't realize they were different body styles. I edited the title.

This D10 clip looks very nice on the LF5XT. Were you able to use both pieces of the D10 clip? Did you have to change the curve of the inside piece?

I used the clip from the D10 as is. I didn't do any mods to the clip. I enlarged only one of the holes with a 1/8" drill bit. The oblong hole on the light is wide enough to fit the screw without enlarging.
