I've seen various E-series heads (KL1, KL4, etc.) for sale here and there and have been wondering which ones are considered the best ones for upgrading to LED or from Luxeon to P4, P7, Q5, R2 or ? emitters?
What about the stock E1e/E2e heads, are they good for upgrading from incan to LED also?
I assume some heads are better for floody upgrades and others better for more throwy applications... are there any that can go either direction?
Pardon the basic questions, I'm just trying to get a better overall understanding about upgrades and mods. If anyone can sort of give an overall summary of this, so to speak, that would be wonderful! Thank you.
