I know they are different animals, but I thought someone might be interested in how this R2 thrower light compares to my p7 mag at narrow focus. I just got it yesterday.
First the lights:

both at same time, much shorter exposure: p7 centered to the left slightly, and you can see where the uniquefire is centered...:naughty:
This light is pretty much a one trick pony, but it does that one trick pretty well. it lights up the end of our street with authority where my mag at the same distance is washed out by the spill lighting up closer objects much brighter. fwiw, the light took about two months to get here and I got the 1400 milliamp drivers last week that I ordered at the same time as this.
