Arc AAA vs. Arc AAA LE

I am new to LED falshlights, and after all the great things I heard about the Arc AAA I ordered two of them. One a regular model, the other one a Limited Edition. I got both of them today, and I am not dissapointed, great little lights. However the only difference that I can see between the two is that the LE says 'limited edition' on the bottom, and it has a slightly dimmer and more purpleish light. I was surprised, I was expecting the LE light to be noticeably better. Is this just the random LED factor? $12 does seem like a lot of extra money for the nice printing on the bottom of the light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The LE should be a little brighter and whiter (slight green tint) than the standard if it isn't Peter will probably replace it. Both my LE's are much whiter and brighter than my standards except for my turquoise AAA which is really bright (not white).
