My choice will be detemined by rechargable batteries.
I've heard lots of good things about the Eneloop but little to nothing about rechargable CR123s. What say you.

Depends .......

Do you want an AA size light .......

Or a fatter CR123 size light ?

The CR123 battery is shorter but larger diameter.
AA lights are easier to carry in a pocket. (smaller diam.)

And Eneloops are rechargeable , but Primary CR123's are not.

Did you want to consider rechargeable Rcr123a's ?

There's lots o'info here on 123 size batteries ...... if you use the search.

And also look for info in the "Flashlight Electronics - Batteries Included" forum .

That's where we discuss batteries .

AFAIK the EZ CR123 cannot take a battery with voltage higher than 3.0V so if you do decide to use a recharegable cells make sure they are the correct voltage.
The more popular rechargeable Li-Ion cells used around here are 3.7V (but come off the charger around 4.2V)
I say get the EZ AA for availability of AA batteries.

For easy battery change and charging I'd opt for the EZAA. It's low level is very useful for most tasks and the high surprises.

Maybe the Mod's will move it for ya

They don't really like double posts of the same question.

It's getting seen by as many readers , where it currently is - till they move it .

I just posted there, but asked about rechargable CR123 batteries with no mention of a flashlight.
I hope they'll be patient while figure this out so I don't get booted. :mecry:
