trying to decide between the Nitecore smartpd ex10 and the Quark 123. the biggest issue for me is how well does the light carry in the pocket and the strength/quality of the pocket clip. does it stay put, is it easy to retrieve, how well is the clip attached to the light. does the nitecore clip just snap on to the light or is it attached with screws?

also thought the mini Quark 123 looked interesting but it doesnt appear to come with a pocket clip?

thanks guys

Nitecore EX10 clips are screwed on. Quark 123 has 2 options, one comes with clip and one without. The Quark with clip is not removable.
Another difference is EX10's clip is deep carry whereas Quark's isn't.

Don't have the Quark but do have the EX10. EX10 clip screws in with a metal strip backing that fits INSIDE the outer rim at the base. No problems at all with pocket carry so far (only for some weeks and in rotation at that so someone who's had it longer should speak on long term usage).

You'd have to shell out extra for the Nitecore clip though.

There's also the Dereelight C2H to consider, as well as the Javelin "Shorty," which is basically a portable thrower (basically a turbo head on the dinky C2H body, throwing out over 200 lumens.)
