Hey guys, just wanted your opinion on a comparison.
Kingpower K2: http://www.shiningbeam.com/servlet/the-112/Kingpower-K2-4-dsh-Mode-LED/Detail
vs
Romisen RC-N3: http://www.shiningbeam.com/servlet/the-122/Romisen-RC-dsh-N3-II-Cree/Detail
or

(whats the difference between the 2 Rc-N3s? Which RC-N3 is better?)

I know there's a $10 price difference, but which is better in terms of value? I'm looking for a general multi-purpose flashlight, with a bit more flood/spill than throw.

What lumens do the 2 modes on the RC-N3 have?

Do the Romisen Rc-N3 have digitally regulated circuitry? I know the Kingpower does, and if the Romisen doesn't, I'm all for Kingpower.

In terms of value and quality go for the KP......or just get both. If your looking for a light that will use cr123 and AA's the the N3 is the way to go...i have a couple of them and they get used. I heard from bryan that the 2mode has an updated driver which causes the led to be brighter. Both use an OP reflector so you should get a nice big spot with spill.

I have a two-mode RC-N3 that I got from shiningbeam and I like it a lot. It is my current 'car light'. The two modes are high and medium, there is no low mode. The medium mode is pretty bright and serves mostly just to increase battery runtime. The versatility of using 1xCR123 or 2xAA is really cool IMO. I use it mostly 1xCR123 but its nice to know I can go 2xAA if I need to use AAs for whatever reason.
