Anyone here ever try to slot a Maratac AAA or AA for trit?

The question says it all. Anyone try this? The tail looks thick enough that one could mill a slot to fit a 1.5x5mm trit tube but maybe the tail part isn't as thick as it looks? I'd love to hear some comments. I'm sending in a EX10 for some slot work and I got to thinking my SS AAA would look really sweet with one as well!

Funny, I've considered this same thing with the AAA Maratac, and it seems there is some meat on the tailcap piece, but measuring the depth (with a paperclip) then gauging that same depth on the outside, it seems as though its much too thin to accept a tritium vial, in fact almost every surface seems as though it would be too thin, except maybe the ring on the tailpiece near the o-ring, but its too narrow to take a trit vial in lengthwise. Seems the clip may be the only option (just put a blob of epoxy?)
