Hi wanting to try shortening a few minimags and solitaires. Could anyone tell me the tap sizes for the mini mag threads? Other thing is can I cut through a minimag with a pipe cutter?

Unfortunately (for you) it's a US-based product and will therefore use imperial sizes for threads, etc. I'm sure you could source a 5/8-28 tap from a US supplier. I think most people just cut them on a lathe.
