Fully Potted....with?

Just wondering what the "fully potted" material is.

Looks like rtv silicone but i assume its some thing special for better heat transfer.

I need to fill a small (uneven) gap between heat source and heatsink and looking for a good heat transfer solution.

I'd like to know this as well, I am re-building a Malkoff M60... and want to use the same potting epoxy Gene used originally. That black, rubbery stuff.

Devcon 2-Ton Epoxy with aluminum oxide powder added
