FREE, Lens diffuser for Surefire E Series

I haven't seen this posted before, if it has please forgive me.

Its just a waterbottle cap snapped over the TIR of my E2L. I am not sure what other E series lights this works on, but the cap fits perfectly over the KX2 head. I took my spyderco and scraped the cap threads a little, to open the ID up just a little.

Not to bad for free out of my recycle bin.

Ha! I just tried it with my E1B, and it worked like a charm. Makes the beam perfect for using up close and lighting up what's immediately around you.

Same sorta cap works a treat on JETbeam RRT-0, too. And if you lose it, a replacement is just a water bottle away!

The only problem is that the whole cap glows when the light is on; from the user end, it can be distracting. I wrap the outside of mine with black electrical tape.

I´ll try with my E1B... that official Surefire difuser is too expensive, for a simple difuser... :crackup:
