Troyka Keychain Light

A nice new keychain light made by the German manufacturer Troyka.

It fully aluminium, uses a single white LED with a nice but useless reflector and is powered by 2 CR2032 lithium batteries. this should give it some more staying power than a Photon Microlight with a brightness superior to an Arc AAA.

Troyka - Arc AAA LE; funny reflector artifacts

The overall quality is very good, a cool feature is the keyring which is mounted permanently at the end of the light and can be unlocked to accept some things to be connected, keys for example. Price is about EUR 20, it can be ordered in wholesale quantities for dealers at

This is the only source I know of.

In the end it brings nothing new to us Flashaholics, it's just another cool light. Maybe it can be mooded (look at the disassembled pic), but that is not my field of expertise.

That looks like a nice little light, though mostly for its style rather than its function. How do you turn it on and off? Is there a lens over the LED?

Hi Paul!
Yes, there is a plastic lens over the LED. You turn it on by unscrewing the bezel. It is o-ring sealed and rather solid.
In fact it is quite a good light, also what function is concerned, the big problem is the size ... the diameter is too big, just a little bit more than a CR2032.
