Would driving a 6 volt Epieon LED with 7.5 volt light seriously affect the thing or could it handle it OK? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Definitely recommend you talk to people at LEDCORP about this. I think I remember reading at the LEDMUSEUM that the earlier model was very sensitive about voltage.

If you have a 5 cell flashlight and 4 cell Epieon, you must use four regular D cells and one dummy cell. If you are using a 5 cell flashlight and 3 cell Epieon, you must use three regular D cells and two dummy cells. Otherwise, you will burn out the Epieon.

OK thanks. I now have it running with 4 live cells and a dummy in an old police light (one of those old Ray-0-Vac pre Mag lLight jobs with the pollished steel case) and it is quite bright with a good hot spot.
