Hi guys. I'm looking to buy a modified mag switch. One used and modified will be fine or I have a switch that I can send to be modified. I will pay shipping to and from and labor.

If anyone interested pm me and I'll give you specifics of what I need.

Thanks,

Heath

It sounds like all you need to do is cut off the tower. You could do that with a pair of wire cutters or a hacksaw blade in a minute or so. It really is easy. Use an allen wrench to take off the screw holding the stuff in the tower apart and snip away. Search around the forum and you can find a ton of threads with pictures to help you along.

Check out this thread for a tutorial

he uses a dremel to cut the tower off but you can do it with wire cutters no problem.

Doesn't the battery-side of the switch need to be trimmed back to expose the spring a bit more? Or is that only for flat-top cells?

BTW Cooter, which dx driver are you using?
