I have switch problem with my Fenix T1 and it flickers on high. When I directly connected the board to power supply the flickers gone so it might be contact issue. Sending the light to manufacturer is too costly.
So where can I buy switch replacement ? How to open the head ? Boil it ?
Have anyone try to replace the emitter with XPG ?
Thanks

The head will open with brute force!

Just unscrew the two parts and the bezel, try to not bending the clip.

I replaced mine with a R2 and a driver to take 17600.

Is the switch retaining ring securely in place?
Yes, I managed to open the switch but dunno how it works so I put it back together. Problem still there.

I'll try that. Maybe boiling it will ease a bit

Email the manufacturer, just ask them to sent you a new switch.
Definitely will email manufacturer for new switch.

Thank you guys.

Is the flickering the same as if the batteries were dead / can't take the current in Turbo mode anymore?
Yup. I managed to fixed it by cleaning all contacts, no more flickers.
Until I get new switch, it's a T1 twisty......
