Anyone know why the LD42 was discontinued? I have one in my car and one in my nightstand, and I have found them excellent.

Anyone know why the LD42 was discontinued? I have one in my car and one in my nightstand, and I have found them excellent.

No specific answer, but looks like a pretty cool light. All I'll say is that as a general observation over time, lights from companies in that part of the world seem to have very short product life cycles in general. I don't know why, but as a general M.O. it's not something I consider a positive.
