I have something new learntly again! I thought there is only 2 or 3-pieces SF-III
Excuse my ignorance but I would like to see the other SF-III.
Somebody hurry a picture where I can see the models with difference?
You do not mean this year's models with 'new run' or?

You just bought one from Jochen, that is an older one I believe. Not sure which year those were made, but I believe they used an optic.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the original run were 3-pc units and the newest run is 2-pc (head/body solid piece).

Thank you, exactly right.

As far as I remember early ones had LUX III LEDs and an optic, later ones had LUX V LEDs and a downturned MCR38 reflector.
Many early ones were converted to LUX V standard, some with triple LEDs and there was also a flood monster with three LEDs without reflectors.

Then there was a Superflashlight V which was produced in very few numbers (the official run was 16 lights, but there are some specials and protos around) in a new design.
This light, using a 15W Ostar LED powered by two 17670 cells does not only look phantastic but still is one of the brightest single LED lights around.

Here you can see it at the very right close to a SF III and some other phantastic Arcmania lights:

Thank you for the info Jochen, I really appreciate the addition to the thread. Great line up of MJ's you have there :twothumbs

To make the row complete we should also mention the Hyperlux V, a close cousin of the the Superflashlight III, produced and sold by TNC (who also produced the Superflashlights).
It was (or still is?) available with different long grips, also in combat style.
