Anyone have the chance to check out the OLight T25 v2010?

I'm looking for a gift 2xAA i'm now looking at T25 v2010, Fenix LD20R4

I have found a ton of reviews for T25 but they are for the 2008 model.

Thanks!

Off to look at reviews for 1xAA lights!!

The older 2008 model had the XR-E Q5, the newer 2010 version has the XP-G R5.

Generally speaking the move from XR-E to XP-G will result in more spill and less throw, assuming the same sized reflector is used.

There's an announcement in the dealers forum; basically the 2010 versions all went XP-G R5 and the entire line went to the t-series tactical version interface (3 brightness levels and strobe w/memory) with forward clickies. Output is up about 20-30% across the line.

I have been waiting to pick up a T25 till I see a beam shot of the new XP-G compared to the older XR-E. Any comparison beamshots anyone? Thanks in advance!

Glad I am not alone here. See my other thread:
https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/296239

My biggest concern is the T25 50min run time vs the LD20 2 hours on high. They both produce similar amount of lumens according to their claim but why the big difference.

Then my biggest question is some online dealers claiming the T25 is compatible with 2x 14500 LiIon batteries.

If Olight puts a neutral XP-G in the T20 or T25, I'm all over it.
