What would you do? ... Why?
Please help me decide as I have not handled either. 6PX-Pro or Malkoff MD2 with High Low, I hear both are good lights.
I'm leaning towards the surefire 6PX-Pro ($69-79)as it can be found for about $60 less than the Malkoff($129). I hear that on Jan 31 the price of the 6PX-Pro will go up.
Requirements:
Primary use will be: Hikes, Walking dog, camping, backup to headlamp when hunting.
Drawback to 6px-pro:

Requirements:
- Must have two levels low 10 to 30 lm, high 200+ lm. (low for long runtime)
- Prefer to be able switch from low to high quickly with one hand.
- Must be able to take primaries. (rechargeable a bonus but not a must, as I do not have 18650 or a charger)
- Must have a momentary on.
- Must have clicky.
- Must have 1+ hours run-time on High.
- Must have 24 + hour run-time on low.
- Must have solid build quality. (I like my SF C2,M2,G3 and my Fenix lights)
Primary use will be: Hikes, Walking dog, camping, backup to headlamp when hunting.
Drawback to 6px-pro:
Drawback to Malkoff with high/low:No deal killers. It can't take rechargeable batteries out of the box (have to bore it out , not sure if it can handle a 18650). Also I have read that there is an issue of it switching from high to low if there is impact to the light when it is on. Not upgradable however I don't usually upgrade just buy a new light.
Takes two hands to switch from low to high (turn of bezel). Because I usually have only one hand available to change modes on a light this may be an issue .
