HID the size of a G3? Not in this decade... your closest bet would be the Wolf-Eyes Boxer 24w HID. They don't produce those anymore but there were a few pre-owned ones for sale in CPF Marketplace every now and then. Next best bet would be the Novae 26w HID.

I think the JiL Lite EZNite 10W is still the smallest HID available. It is approx 6 ins long x 2 ins diameter.

They do have some small 10W HID (but bigger than the EzNite) in aliexpress, but too expensive hence unpopular. A usd27 shipped Ultrafire C8 XM-L will perform better, have more functions, and in a smaller/lighter form factor. But if its just for collection since this is a hobby, why not?
