CPF has gotten me more interested in flashlights. Their much better than they use to be. I'm trying to choose between these two, I chose them mainly because they use two AA batteries rather than Lithium-ion (which are pricey). I already have Sanyo Eneloops and am waiting to receive a Powerex MH-C9000 charger. The flashlights are both in my price range at the moment.

The T25 has better output than the I25, but the I25 has better throw. The T25s construction is stronger.

I'd like to have a wide beam for path illumination, rather then concentrated directly in the center. But I don't think I'd get that with these slim flashlights. Compared to the Fenix TK40, which I'd love to own!.

Which has less problems in terms of part ware?. Is the switch going to last?, what about the head that you turn to change the beam modes?, will I have any problems with it over time?.

There's quite a few spelling errors below...

Re: Olight I25 Infinitum or Olight T25 Tactical

Hi Dry-cell,
I know you already have it narrowed down to the 2 Olights, but to keep things interesting I thought I would throw out the Klarus ST-20.
I too have a bunch of AA eneloop batteries, so I basically just have AA lights. The Klarus has great regulation and I believe better output.
You said you don't want a really tight beam pattern, and since the Klarus ST-20 uses the XP-G emitter it is a pretty floody, but still has decent throw.
I love the light, and since I was at one time considering the Olight T-25 I thought I would share my 2 cents.
The olight is a good light though!

Unfortunately you can't get it on Amazon or eBay, so I'm out of luck with the Klarus ST-20. Do they even have a website?. Did you get your's from goinggear.com?

Well I ended up ordering an Olight T25 Tactical XP-G R5. Later on I'll probably get the filters and beam diffuser also. Will get some good use come summer time.

Got my beam diffuser earlier today, it's smaller than I thought it would be. I'm still waiting on the flashlight.

You'll be happy with the T-25

Don't worry about overheating with the diffuser on

Thank's guys. I got my flashlight today, haven't used it yet but I really like the size, feel, weight and look of it.

Edit: Well, I tested it out in a pitch black room, and wow!, it really lights it up!. I like the color/tint of the light it's really nice to look at. This is my first real light and I'm very happy with it so far. I used it with the diffuser on also, it fits perfectly, it takes the beam spot and speads it out so you don't see a circle and fills the room with light. I'm going to order some of the filters and maybe get a second diffuser for backup.

The only thing that could be a little better is the holster. It would be nice if there was a flap that you could cover the head with (like the Klarus holster's), it just stick's out, so it's not fully protected.

ANS FL 1 180m max throw

ANS FL 1 Max 30 Hours

ANS FL 1 Highly Water Resistant (IPX-8)

Is their a trick to taking off the rubber switch boot or am I just being to gentle with it?. I'd like to replace the black one with the glow in the dark one.

Somewhat of an old thread--Anyway between the T20 and T25, both V2010 models--so whats the best one between the Cree XP-G S2 (T20) and the Cree XP-G R5 (T25) in terms of brightness, throw ect.... Whats the benifit of one over the other. I understand that one takes CR123 and the other reg batts. thanks.
